    World Journal of Trauma and Critical Care Medicine welcomes articles in the field of acute and emergency critical care and its allied subjects such as anesthesiology, clinical trials, multimodality treatment, trauma, neurology, biomarkers, prevention, pathology, radiology, and molecular biology. Emphasis is placed on original research articles and timely and systematic reviews. The journal will also published clinical case reports if they deal with unreported cases, unusual side effects or drug interactions, new diseases or association of diseases, or new findings on pathogenesis and treatment of the disease.

    As critical care is a multidisciplinary super-specialty of which medicine, and anesthesia forms an integral component World Journal of Trauma and Critical Care Medicine aims to provide a common platform to critical care specialists working in ICU and CCU around the globe to share the advances in their respective and related fields.
